Adaptive Diving In Cyprus
Weightless. Free. Underwater.
Scuba diving for people with physical and mild intellectual disabilities, taught to international IAHD standards in Protaras.
Where Gravity Stops Mattering
For many people with limited mobility, the first dive is the first time they move freely without help. We make that safe, step by step.
The Wheelchair Stays On Shore
IAHD adapts the training to the diver, not the diver to the training.
Weightless
Underwater, your body is supported from every side.
Free To Move
Many divers move without help for the first time.
Adapted To You
Every step of training fits your abilities.
The Three Yes Rule
We don’t work from a list of conditions. Anyone can dive with us when three people say yes.
The Doctor Says Yes
A doctor confirms you are fit to dive.
You Say Yes
You want to dive. Not your family, not us. You.
The Instructor Says Yes
Your instructor is ready to plan and lead your dive safely.
Minimum age is 12, including mental age.
Your Level Is About Safety, Not Limits
Every IAHD certificate shows a partner level. It defines how many buddies dive with you, so that in an emergency everyone gets back to the surface safely. We set your level together with you during training.
Level 1
You can help yourself and your buddy in an emergency. Dives with 1 buddy (Open Water Diver or equivalent).
Level 2
You can help yourself, but not your buddy. Dives with 2 buddies: one Open Water Diver with 10+ dives and one Dive Partner.
Level 3
You cannot help yourself or your buddy in an emergency. Dives with 3 buddies: two Open Water Divers with 10+ dives and one Instructor Assistant.
Level 4
You handle scuba equipment, but cannot help yourself or your buddy. Dives with 1 Dive Partner plus an IAHD instructor in the water, in shallow confined water or a pool — we have both.
Level definitions follow the official IAHD partner level standards.
