About GoToDive Cyprus
From Your First Dive
To CCR Trimix.
One Team. One Progression Path.
GoToDive Cyprus in Protaras is built for divers who want one trusted team for recreational diving, technical training, CCR development and real next-step advice before they commit.
A Diving Center Where You Know Who You Are Booking With
People usually book faster when three things are clear: who the instructors are, what kind of diving the center really does, and whether the advice feels honest before any money changes hands.
GoToDive covers beginner-friendly dives, guided recreational diving, technical progression, CCR development and professional training from one Cyprus base.
Small Groups, Clear Advice And A Real Next Step
GoToDive is not trying to look like a huge resort operation. The appeal is simpler: real instructors, direct contact, and a center that can help you choose the right dive or course instead of pushing the wrong one.
Direct Instructor Access
You are not booking into a faceless system. You can see who teaches, who guides and who you are actually trusting underwater.
Progression In One Place
You can start with a first dive or a recreational course, then keep going into technical, CCR or professional training without needing a new center every time.
Serious Technical Surface
The center does not stop at beginner diving. Technical, trimix and CCR are already visible, which matters if you want depth beyond holiday-level marketing.
Cyprus Environment
Cyprus makes diving easier to organise and easier to enjoy. Warm water, visibility and simple logistics help both new divers and experienced ones.
Why Divers Book GoToDive Instead Of Waiting Or Shopping Around
The buying decision is usually practical. Divers want the right instructor, the right level, and a trip that feels straightforward to organise.
Two Real Instructor Profiles
Yurii and Svitlana bring different value. One supports deeper technical and CCR progression. The other makes guided and recreational diving feel calmer and more personal.
Small-Group Logic
This is a better fit for divers who want attention, cleaner briefings and less chaos than a big-volume boat operation usually gives.
Advice Before You Buy
Good advice before booking matters. The wrong course or wrong dive wastes both money and holiday time.
Reefs, Wrecks And Zenobia
The same center can cover easy local diving, guided wreck days, Zenobia goals and longer training blocks without changing the whole trip plan.
From A Trial Dive In Egypt To GoToDive Cyprus
Trust gets stronger when the path is visible. GoToDive did not appear overnight. It was built step by step through teaching, technical progression, CCR development and years of working with divers in different countries.
Yurii's path into diving started after a trial dive in Egypt. He went straight into training, and within nine months he was already working in Crimea, Ukraine as a CMAS Divemaster. Two years later he became a CMAS one-star instructor, then later completed a crossover into SSI.
His first courses were taught in Ukraine. In 2008 he moved to Sharm El Sheikh, where his work expanded into a broader training operation. In 2013 he became a technical instructor, in 2015 a rebreather instructor, and in 2016 reached instructor trainer level. In 2014 he founded the Deep Diver club in Sharm El Sheikh.
Cyprus had already entered the picture earlier. Yurii made his first dives in Cyprus in 2014 and also worked in dive centers in Northern Cyprus. In 2018 he moved to Croatia and created GoToDive there. In 2022 he opened GoToDive Cyprus in Protaras, bringing the same progression mindset into a dedicated Cyprus base.
That timeline matters because the current offer is not random. Recreational diving, technical courses and CCR development all sit under one roof because that is how the experience was built in real life.
Meet The Two Instructors Behind GoToDive Cyprus
This is the part most divers care about before they book: who will be in the water with them, how that person works, and why that fit matters for the kind of diving they want to do.

Yurii Prokhvatylo
Founder, CCR Instructor Trainer and technical diving educator
Yurii is the right person to talk to when the conversation moves past entry-level diving and into technical training, CCR, trimix or professional development. He gives GoToDive its deeper training credibility and the kind of progression logic experienced divers usually look for before they commit.

Svitlana Haf
Normoxic Trimix Instructor, technical instructor, dive guide and underwater photographer
Svitlana adds real depth to GoToDive, not just support value. She started diving more than 20 years ago alongside Yurii and today brings serious technical qualifications, calm in-water control and the kind of Zenobia experience that many Cyprus divers specifically look for before they book. She is a Normoxic Trimix Instructor with more than 10,000 dives overall and around 1,000 dives on Zenobia.

What Diving With GoToDive Usually Looks Like
People are more likely to enquire when the process feels simple. This block explains what to expect before you book and once you arrive.
Choose The Right Level First
You get better value when the first recommendation fits your level and goal instead of just filling a schedule slot.
Train Or Dive In Small Groups
Small groups usually mean better attention, calmer briefings and a better feeling underwater, especially for less confident divers.
Use Real Local Context
The center works with real local diving: reefs, shore sites, wrecks and Zenobia. That makes the sales message easier to trust.
Keep The Next Step Clear
Whether you are asking about a first dive or a technical step, the goal is the same: leave with a clear answer on what to do next.
Why Cyprus Makes This Easier To Book And Easier To Enjoy
Cyprus helps because the diving is good and the logistics are simple. That matters more than people think, especially when they are trying to fit diving into a short holiday.
For recreational divers, Cyprus lowers the barrier. Warm water, visibility and easier travel logistics make a first dive, a guided day or a recreational course feel more relaxed from the start.
For technical and CCR divers, the same conditions help for a different reason. Less friction on the trip means more focus for planning, procedure and execution once the diving gets more serious.
That is why one center here can credibly sell very different levels of diving. Cyprus works for short guided trips, multi-day training and bigger goals like Zenobia without making everything feel overcomplicated.
